Flexy Moola Privacy Policy
Last updated: 06 November 2026
1. Who we are
In plain English: who is responsible for your data and how to reach us.
Flexy Moola is an independent online publication available at flexymoola.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). We decide how and why personal data collected through the site is used. For privacy questions or requests, contact legal@flexymoola.com.
2. What we collect
In plain English: only what we need to run the site, send the newsletter and understand what readers find useful.
- What you give us: your email address (and name, if you provide it) when you subscribe or contact us, plus the content of any message you send.
- What is collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies: described in Section 6.
- From affiliate partners: we generally receive only summary reports of clicks and commissions, not information that identifies you.
We do not sell products on the site, so we do not collect payment card details. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and you should not send it to us.
3. How we use your data
In plain English: what we do with your data and the reason the law lets us.
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (UK and EU GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Run, secure and fix the site | IP address, device and log data | Legitimate interests |
| Understand how the site is used | Usage data, cookie data | Consent where required, otherwise legitimate interests |
| Send the newsletter | Email address, name | Consent |
| Reply to your messages | Name, email, message | Legitimate interests |
| Track affiliate clicks and commissions | Cookie data, click data | Consent where required |
| Meet legal obligations and handle legal claims | As needed | Legal obligation, legitimate interests |
We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Newsletter
In plain English: you choose to join, and you can leave at any time.
If you subscribe, we use systeme.io to send emails and manage our subscriber list. We use confirmed opt-in, which means you must click a link in a confirmation email before you are added. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. systeme.io may record whether you open emails and click links. According to its privacy policy, it hosts its servers with Amazon Web Services in Ireland, and that policy explains how it handles your data. You can unsubscribe at any time, after which we keep only the minimum record needed to make sure you are not emailed again.
5. Affiliate links
In plain English: some links earn us a commission, and the companies we link to have their own privacy practices.
Some links on the site are affiliate links. When you click one, the affiliate network or merchant may set cookies and can see that you came from our site. We earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what they do with your data. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.
6. Cookies and analytics
In plain English: we ask before using cookies that aren’t essential.
We use essential cookies to make the site work. Where the law requires it, we use analytics and marketing cookies only after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie preferences link on the site or in your browser settings. We use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. We do not currently show advertising on the site. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: if your browser sends one, our cookie tool treats it as an opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies, accepts only necessary and functional cookies, and shows you a message saying so. You can override this in the cookie banner if you want to opt back in. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.
7. How we use AI
In plain English: AI helps us write; it does not process your personal data.
We use AI tools to help create and edit content published on the site, as described on our How We Use AI page. We do not enter subscribers’ or visitors’ personal data into AI tools.
8. Who we share data with
In plain English: only the service providers we need, and we don’t sell your email address.
We share data with providers who help us run the site, such as namecheap.com (our hosting provider), systeme.io (our email and newsletter platform), google.com (our analytics provider), and our cookie consent tool. They may use it only to provide their services to us. We may also share data if required by law or to protect our rights, or if the site is sold or transferred. We do not sell your email address or contact details to anyone. If you accept advertising or analytics cookies, some US state laws may treat the data those cookies collect as “sharing” for advertising, and you can decline them in the cookie banner.
9. International transfers
In plain English: your data may be handled in other countries, with safeguards.
Our providers operate in several countries, including the United States, so your data may be processed outside the country where you live. Where the law requires safeguards for those transfers, we rely on measures such as standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms.
10. How long we keep your data
In plain English: we don’t keep data longer than we need it.
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Newsletter subscribers | Until you unsubscribe, then a minimal suppression record |
| Messages you send us | Up to [24] months |
| Server logs | Up to [12] months |
| Analytics data | Up to [14] months |
| Records needed for legal reasons | As long as the law requires |
11. Your rights
In plain English: you can ask to see, fix, delete or limit what we hold about you.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Residents of some US states can also opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal data, and we will not treat you worse for using these rights. To use any right, email legal@flexymoola.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time required by law. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection or privacy authority.
12. Security
In plain English: we take reasonable care, but no system is perfectly secure.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can guarantee complete security. If a data breach affects you and the law requires us to tell you, we will.
13. Children
In plain English: the site is for adults.
The site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Other websites
In plain English: we are not responsible for other sites.
The site links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.
15. Changes to this policy
In plain English: we may update this page and will change the date when we do.
We may update this policy by publishing a revised version here with a new date. If a change is material, we will draw attention to it on the site or by email to subscribers.
